Contents: GeneralDeveloper: Michel Racic Category: Productivity Latest version: 0.3.4 beta Total versions: 5 Submitted: 17 Nov 2010 Updated: 17 Nov 2010 DescriptionWhile in a call the app will switch automatically between speaker and head output based on the values from proximity sensor. It works in a following way. When you have your phone on the ear, it will be like normal mode. But if you take it away from your ear, the phone will automatically switch to speakerphone. It even includes a conference mode that if you place phone upside down on a table it will stay on speakerphone. The app checks if a wired or bluetooth headset is connected and will deactivate itself in this condition. Note: This will only work if you have a phone with proximity sensor hardware like the nexus, Desire, Samsung Galaxy S, G2, DroidX. SpeakerProximity is an open source application released under GNU General Public License v3.
