The app doesn't require network access like built-in Maps application on Android.yozi features fast maps auto-indexing on start and auto-loading Maps for a current location, with possibility to switch between more or less detailed maps for the current location. The app supports movement tracking using internal GPS receiver. It also supports Ozi Explorer waypoints (import from .wpt), Google Earth waypoints (import from .kml), Geocaching waypoints (import from .gpx). Waypoint can be shown on Radar screen. You are also enabled to set waypoint as target. Once you tap on waypoint, you can see direction and distance to it. yozi app offers a worldwide search for places by name (requires network access). It is capable to search for a city, street, river or lake and view its location on your topographic map.
